As March comes to a conclusion we have a wealth of theatre to get us into the new month. Here is my pick of all the best theatre to check out over the next 7 days:


WHAT?

70 concerts from both series of Leave A Light On are streaming again, with two shows each night. This week the series continues with some iconic West End stars from shows including Everybody's Talking About Jamie, Six, Heathers and Waitress.

WHAT?

If you're missing the Tina musical, you'll love this new documentary about the legendary Tina Turner, premiering on Sky Documentaries today and available Internationally. The story of her life and music with involvement from the legendary lady herself will also feature footage from the musical.

WHEN?

It premieres on Sunday 28th March at 2am and is repeated in the evening at 9pm as well as being available to watch on demand.

WHAT?

This week in Seth Rudetsky's weekly concert series he is joined by the star of Hairspray and Grease Ashley Spencer joined by Wicked and Beautiful star Kara Lindsay.

WHEN?

It takes place on Sunday 28th March at 8pm ET which is 1am in the UK and is repeated on Monday 29th March at 3pm ET which is 8pm in the UK .

WHAT?

Another chance to see Sasha Regan's production of Gilbert & Sullivan's classic - filmed at the Palace Theatre in the West End last year.

WHEN?

It streams from Monday 29th March until Monday 5th April at 7.30pm each evening with matinees on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at 2.30pm.

WHERE?




WHAT?

The annual event that sees musical theatre stars perform songs that go against their casting bracket. his year the event takes place online. Stephanie J, Block, Lea Salonga, Deborah Cox, Ariana DeBose, Cynthia Erivo and Kelli O'Hara are among those appearing.

WHEN?

It streams on Tuesday 30th March at 8pm ET which is 1am in the UK.

WHERE?


WHAT?

A rehearsed, live, online reading of the Shakespeare classic A Midsummer Night's Dream featuring an International cast led by Dan Stevens and Rebecca Hall.

WHEN?

Catch it for one night only on Wednesday 31st March at 7.30pm.

WHAT?

Ordinary Days is a poignant sung-through musical about how ordinary things are what makes life so extraordinary.

The original Broadway cast of Shrek is available to view in the UK for the first time. Starring Brian d'Arcy James, Sutton Foster, Daniel Breaker and Christopher Sieber, it was professionally filmed with ten cameras.

WHEN?

It is available to view at your leisure from Thursday 1st April.

WHAT?

Now Or Never is the most ambitious stream from The Barn Theatre yet. This song cycle written by Matthew Harvey follows 7 people as they each take a defiant act of positivity and will be filmed and streamed completely live.

WHEN?

The concert streams live on Thursday 1st April at 6.30pm.

WHAT?

Open Mic is a live, interactive online celebration of community, storytelling, music, comedy and talent. You can either get a participant ticket and share your own stories and songs or sit back and watch the others do it.

WHEN?

It airs live on Thursday 1st, Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd April at 8pm each evening with a matinee on Saturday at 5pm.

WHAT?

Can We Talk About It? is an exploration of human thoughts, feelings, memories, relationships and experiences in a touching collection of monologue performances /

WHEN?

It starts on Thursday 1st April at 7pm and is available to view on demand until Thursday 8th April.

WHAT?

Movies To Musicals brings the West End to the stars of tomorrow with this duet concert pairing young performers with West End stars including Luke Bayer and Emma Kingston. Money raised will be split between 2 amazing charities - Acting For Others and Glasgow Philharmonia SCIO

The concert takes place on Friday 2nd April at 7pm

WHAT?

If you're a fan of Jersey Boys you'll love this tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Frankie's Guys is streaming live from The Marina Theatre in Lowestoft.
